texte = I have an idea tetering on the brink of insanity (funny what a half-gallon of beer will do to an otherwise reasonable person the next day...) We (the WebDNA Developers) form a corporation or some other legal collective *and each contibute $$ out of our own pockets* to this collective with the singular goal being to partner with SMSI's Marketing arm (or fingernail... hehheh) and bring WebDNA to the mainstream. I know you'll all string me up for even *thinking* of having us contribute our own $$, but that's what partners do; they contribute capital therefore sharing the benefits, as well as the risk, of the venture. Plan is that the $$ (ours AND SMSI's) would go towards hiring a bona-fide, really really good Ad Agency, and having them assist us in concepting/designing a marketing plan ( placing ads in WIRED mag, on Google/Yahoo! or whereever our target market hangs out, etc. etc.) ... Sure, sure, many of us have the skills (including SMSI) to accomplish this, but it hasn't happened yet, so a 3rd party might be very beneficial. This would help us all, obviously, being in on the 'ground-floor' like we are... perhaps SMSI would be open to contributing SMSI stocks or something like that to the pot as well.. if this flies, SMSI stock would likely go up, no? Half-baked idea, but worth a look-see, dontcha think? -Dan ------------------------------------------------------------ http://www.StrongGraphicDesign.com (208) 319-0137 | Toll-free p/f 877-561-1656 ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
