texte = OK, I'll bite. I just added stats from one of our new Dual 2Ghz G5s: http://utility.blackpepper.co.nz/webdna_speed/show_speed.html Unix-Macintosh OS X /Apache Module /5.1e G5 Dual 2Ghz 1GB/150GB/OSX10.2.8/ 127 Looks like a new record... :) (Hey Alain, could you sort this page by date submitted or total?) I've done a few elapsedtime tests against our production server, and this G5 loads complex cpu-intensive pages at least twice as fast as our Dual 1.42 G4's. More testing is in process now. -Dale Pat Holliday wrote: > Someone's picked up a box... or two...or three.. :) > > http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/3180872.stm > > Pat > > On Sunday, October 12, 2003, at 10:37 pm, Alain Russell wrote: > >> Since these have been shipping for a while I find it hard to believe >> no-one has one and has benchmarked it yet ?? >> Does anyone have one .. come on .. share ;) >> >> Alain >> >> >> >> ------------------------------------------------------------- >> This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to >> the mailing list . >> To unsubscribe, E-mail to: >> To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to >> >> Web Archive of this list is at: http://webdna.smithmicro.com/ >> >> > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------- > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to > > Web Archive of this list is at: http://webdna.smithmicro.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
