texte = http://www.SearchBoise.comWell, I finally went and built my own search engine... just launched over the weekend and I'd like to get some honest feedback from anybody who cares to take a look. There are some minor (probably noticeable only to me) improvements I plan to make, but any and all input is appreciated. All in all, I kept it pretty simple, and the only real 'features' are that every Category/SubCat/Listing is continually incremented per click and is displayed based on the 'rank' (number of clicks) This way the 'cream rises to the top' (only exception is the search results; those are displayed in the proprietary super-secret SmithMicro search algorithm ranking). Also, I'm dynamically feeding search terms (& category/subcategory) to the amazon ad so the book selection stays relevant to what the user is seeking at any given time. Hopefully I'll sell some books ;)TIA,-Dan------------------------------------------------------------http://www.StrongGraphicDesign.com(208) 319-0137 | Toll-free p/f 877-561-1656-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
