texte = Unfortunately, there is still a bottle neck during the time data (including form data) is passed from our ISAPI extension dll to the WebDNA engine. So large uploads, via a post to a WebDNA template, will hold up other WebDNA template requests, until the uploaded data has been passed to the WebDNA engine. From that point, WebDNA will spawn a separate thread to handle template processing, and the next template request will be processed. We are looking to eliminate this bottleneck in a future WebDNA release. -----Original Message----- From: Christian F. We think we are seeing a situation where when uploading a "large" file through HTTP via a form to an IIS 5.0 server (Win2K), all execution of other WebDNA pages stops until the upload is complete. The WebCat version is 4.5.x. We noticed that this was reported on the list in May of 2003 by a developer, but no solution was reported. The WebDNA upload code is a variation on the Storebuilder upload code. The file upload implementation isn't new for us - it's worked well for some time. We were looking into a user reported issue and got to wondering if this may be the cause. Can anyone else confirm this behavior? Christian F.
