texte = I've seen the IPADDRESS issue come up from time to time. It seems that forcertain OSX/Apache/WebSTAR configurations, the web server API call to getthe remote IP address returns the server IP. We are looking at this now.For a work around, you can create a WebDNA function called IPADDRESS thatwill override the default IPADDRESS tag.The function should look something like this:[function name=IPADDRESS]
[listmimeheadersname=PC-Remote-Addr&exact=F][value][/listmimeheaders][/function]You can add that function code to the WebDNA 'pre-parse' script (and thenenable the pre-parse script). Then all your [ipaddress] tags will use thefunction to (hopefully) generate the correct IP address.-----Original Message-----From: Alain Russell [mailto:alain.russell@blackpepper.co.nz]Sent: Tuesday, November 18, 2003 12:19 PMTo: WebDNA TalkSubject: Re: Another OS 10.3 Upgrade issueI don't have that problem ?On 19/11/2003, at 8:38 AM, Paul Uttermohlen wrote:> Hi,>> When upgrading to OS X 10.3 server,>> Webcatalog's [ipaddress] tag no longer shows the IP address of the > browser,> but shows the IP address of the server instead.>> And there is a new mimeheader that displays call "PC-Remote-Addr" and > that> displays the IP address of the browser.>> Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to get the Ipaddress > tag to> correctly display the IP address of the browser and not of the server> without have rewrite code replacing the ipaddress tag with the > mimeheader> tag.>> Thanks, Paul>> ________________________________________________________> Paul Uttermohlen> http://www.Anoweb.com/> http://www.Uttermohlen.com/> Paul@Anoweb.com> Columbus, Ohio 43026> 614-529-8963> _______________________________________________________>>>>> -------------------------------------------------------------> This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to> the mailing list
