texte = Hi Carlos, Welcome, and excellent questions. As Dan suggested, you'll most definitely want the developer's edition (free) on your computer so that you can use your computer as the development box before moving code up to your production server. You'll of course need to have a web server running on that computer, just to "serve" to yourself, be it IIS, Apache, etc. For editors, I use Edit Plus 2 (http://www.editplus.com), and at their site you'll see a code snippets add-on that I put together a while back, probably needs updating but I believe it has 5.0 code in it. If not, I'll update it soon. Edit Plus is a regular text editor, nothing pretty but some code highlighting. Dreamweaver is great also, and I do use it when I'm buried in tables. Just make sure under the preferences you disable all code rewriting because it will screw with your WebDNA in a heartbeat (or at least the older versions of DW did). Good luck!
