I provided him code that utilizes the orders database to issue a new cart if an order has been puchased. This didn't work for him so I went in to look at why. The reason my code didn't work is that all his orders are falling in a pending status thus his orders database is working. I believe the users are simply bookmarking his site (with the cart number) or something similar. The simple fix is to get the order database to a working state and to initiate the code I sent him.
