Since the other languages are pushed more throughout the industry, many admins have ASP or PHP installed already. I'll bet my cat that a significant percentage of ISPs/admins who browse webdna.net or smithmicro.com looking at WebDNA do NOT know that they can have them both running... thus losing the sale without smithmicro even knowing. I myself have told clients that they may need to switch to a server running WebDNA if there current ISP runs another language. This is was always a touch and go area. I would appreciate it if Sal, or perhaps more appropriately, someone from smith micro would publish a detail about this.. perhaps even how to's for the different languages. I am guessing that much of it has to do with mapping suffixes and not confusing them. ..tpl/.tmpl to webdna, .asp to asp etc.... (Can one run .html to webdna with the required header comment and then run asp to .asp only?)
