The example that is created to provide a search feature uses code that I can't seem to find in any of the Docs. Just as a brief background so you understand the question, the Database Helper gives you a form that you select the field you want to search, enter the data you want to search for, and the type of search. When you submit the form the search that gets created looks something like this: [search db=database.db&FIELD1data={entered data}&FIELD1comp=eq&FIELD1type=num] What surprises me is the use of the "comp" string to specify the type of comparison rather than saying eqFIELD1data={entered data}. I just looked through the archives and the docs and I can't even find any mention of this being valid code. I really need to know if there are any pitfalls with using "comp" ... will it be phased out? I'm creating an ad-hoc search system that actually will search multiple databases... Basically an automatic report writer/searcher. This specific code I just found is wonderful, but if it does not work in anything above 4.5.1 I should not be wasting my time using it. Thanks!
