texte = thanks Sal... i could gather that of the ms page. i didn't think to instruct users to start looking for and copying their executables thought.... it's a bit rude... it'll be better if i just redirect them to the protected page and wait for the [authenticate] to pop up the dialog window. the window that the client "so totally doesn't want to see"... apparently there isn't any salvation from this ms 'improvement'.. thank you...
