texte = hi all,i am in the middle of writing a whole set of functions to handle state (not states) for a user session where values are stored in a text file on the server and are available on each page through a set of getSession and setSession functions... well... things are going along pretty well, when I realized that this already sort of exists in the form of the orderfile.in this case, do you think it is even worth writing these functions? i could just as soon use the header fields in a cart to handle this and the methods for get and set are already written into the engine (no way it would be faster as a function).thoughts??if i bother writing these functions anyhow, is there any interest? (they would of course only work with WebDNA v5 or greater)- charles--Charles Kline, President(p) 856-608-7908http://www.rightcode.net"Do, or do not.
