texte = hi all, i am in the middle of writing a whole set of functions to handle state (not states) for a user session where values are stored in a text file on the server and are available on each page through a set of getSession and setSession functions... well... things are going along pretty well, when I realized that this already sort of exists in the form of the orderfile. in this case, do you think it is even worth writing these functions? i could just as soon use the header fields in a cart to handle this and the methods for get and set are already written into the engine (no way it would be faster as a function). thoughts?? if i bother writing these functions anyhow, is there any interest? (they would of course only work with WebDNA v5 or greater) - charles -- Charles Kline, President (p) 856-608-7908 http://www.rightcode.net "Do, or do not.
