texte = Thanks for the quick replies. Donovan, adding the type=num isn't necessary since my PointID's begin with letters, not numbers. The search code I provided does indeed change my database. By change, Charles, I meant the records themselves are not the same. Most notably, the first field is a date and the uploaded database ends on 4/21/2004. But when webcat searches through it, the last field is now 3/6/2003. What makes this even more strange is that this webcat modified db contains the same number of records, so it's not truncating the records. After a little BBEdit Find Differences magic, I was able to find what was really going on. 45 lines began with an illegal character (dare I say gremlin). This then was causing WebCat to parse the data incorrectly and why the database seemed to change and loose records. All is good now. Thanks again for your help!
