texte = I HIGHLY recommend "Designing with Web Standards" by Jeffrey Zeldman. This book provides a good explanation as to why XHTML, CSS, and other standards are the way to go when building sites. There are some technical examples and how-to's in the book, but it isn't meant to be a detailed technical reference. This is the best computer book I've read in a long time.
