windows file upload = weirdness

numero = 57546
interpreted = N
texte = I let people upload files to their sites. The code I wrote has been humming along fine for the few people who use it... and all happen to be Mac users. Now I have a Windows user, and we have a problem. It seems that [listpath] using fileonly=t is not extracting the filename, but the whole huge string. The file is uploaded and written to disk okay, and manipulated by ImageMagick okay, and the db record gets added okay, albeit the filename remains the entire path (with illegals stripped from it via a piece of code), like this: CDocumentsandSettingsDottieLarioMyDocumentsMyPictures2004-04-27firstcommfirstcomm.jpg. For some reason, the page stalls at the upload page; the page which has the codes to do all the above never appears in the browser. After the above processes, the page should search the db for the new sku, and display a form for adding a description and so forth. Everything up to the [replace] (below) works as planned, with the proper incremented sku added. The text immediately following does not display. Any ideas? I'd like to retain the filename, but will rename it or let the user type in a name on the incoming form if need be. When I go to the admin section later, the record does come up, so the long filename shouldn't be breaking anything. I'm just stymied right now. Unless it's a timing thing? [replace db=../[db]&append=t&eqfiledatarq=[jpgfilename]]file=[jpgfilename]&cat=f&th=no&vis=hide&rnk=10&sec=[url][sec][/url]&sku=[newsku][/replace] [text]sku=[newsku][/text] [file] added to db in HoldingTank section.

Assign a library, etc. now using the form below. [search db=../[db]&eqskudatarq=[sku]] [founditems] etc. Thanks, Terry ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
