Unable to append to 'db=3Dtest.db' .Ignoring [Append] context The append code I used worked on the test server, any ideas? Thanks, Chris=20 -----Original Message----- From: Nitai @ ComputerOil [mailto:nitai@computeroil.com]=20 Sent: 17 May 2004 13:34 To: WebDNA Talk Subject: Re: Setting vars in a text file..... If qou want to store a variable on the SAME template you can use [text]myvar=3Dmyvalue[/text] If you want to store MANY variables on the SAME template: [text multi=3DT]myvar=3Dmyvalue&myvar2=3Dmyvalue2[/text] Of if you want to store man< variables on the SAME page again, there is also the [table] tag. But if you need to store a variable "overall" you have the options to create a database, with the values of the user which you can get anytime anywhere. The other option is to use a cookie as you have mentioned.
