I originally advised them to migrate to WebDNA as a host, but they chose to stay local with a company that can provide hardware support, and Windows system education to the local staff. As a non-profit, they can't afford 2 hosting companies just to suit my code choices. The few scripts that are running now that need to be changed over are in a directory at a different URL that I maintain for a second client It was always my intention to move these few pages and .db out before the Harborfest season began, and the hits started to increase. Now time is running short, and trying to educate myself with the MySQL now seems like correcting for a bad haircut by cutting off my own head. I don't need the power of MySQL, just to read into and out of a flat file database of text and links back to images at oswegoharborfest.com I seeking another solution. Thanks for any advice. sfb On Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at 10:31 PM, kalin mintchev wrote: >> Stuart, I wish I could change hosts, as I am hosting other clients >> with a WebDNA enabled ISP. >> However my client is a non-profit organization, and obtains various >> in-kind sponsors, one of which is a hosting company down the road. > > > what's the .org? we host a bunch of them... > > >> >> I asked this list for a little free space from anyone last year when I >> took this client. >> No one could garnet me any free space.
