texte = Thanks Bob, I also found cronnix for osx here, it apparently provides a simple aqua interface: http://www.koch-schmidt.de/cronnix/ I found an example in some other online cron documentation that suggests that the proper way to load a browser page every 5 minutes via cron is this, but if this is not right please feel free to correct me since I'm only just beginning to learn ths stuff: 0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55 * * * * /usr/bin/open 'http://domain.com/page.html' In cronnix there's a shortcut that apparently looks like this where "*/5" means "every 5th minute": */5 * * * * /usr/bin/open 'http://domain.com/page.html' I don't know what curl does but if I don't need to use it I won't, I'll just stick with cron if possible, assuming something like my example above actually works.
