texte = I've had a problem with Norton for at least a year. One of my members helped me out by sending me (Windows) screen shots of what settings had to be turned off. In my case, it was thwarting what Welcome is doing on my WebStar server, and thinking the referrer was not my domain (this is how I protect images in the membership area without directory protection). It was masking the referrer, for internet privacy, in other words. I now have a link on the error page they get, directing them to these screen shots. What havoc crap software like this wreaks upon existing websites. I only know these things because people pay for access and complain when the site doesn't work. I wonder how many people run sites that stop working properly when software like this gets widely used?
