texte = I'm looking for some ideas on an approach to obtaining currency=20 exchange rates. I found that the Bank of Canada publishes a comma=20 separated value (CSV) file of exchange rates for the Canadian dollar,=20 every date at about 1:00 pm EST. I would love to be able to have that=20= file downloaded daily (cron job), then parse the data for the most=20 current rate for the US dollar. Would some [TCPConnect] code be able to accomplish this, or would this=20= be more suited to a Unix shell script? BTW, here's a link to the CSV=20 file if anyone's interested in looking: http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/financial_markets/csv/exchange_eng.csv (WebDNA 4.5, OS X 10.2.8, Apache) ------ Daryl Mitchell, E-Business Specialist PW Group =B7 Saskatoon, SK CANADA Tel: (306) 665-3557 =B7 Fax (306) 664-0094 d.mitchell@pwgroup.ca =B7 www.pwgroup.ca= ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
