texte = Thanks Joe I am basically trying to change characters that seem to be cropping up when trying to write files. I seem to be getting difficulties with characters like smart quotes and elipsis but now I see smart quotes are already in the StandardConversions.db :-( I am a little confused as I added elipsis to the db and now I still seem to get an ' (in smart quote format) even though it is in the standard.db and elipsis still seems to be appearing (only now and again). I have now also had a problem arising from using a hyphon. Anyone have any suggestions?
