It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 59727
interpreted = N
texte = No, not a dumb question. Nowadays, nearly all of my sites employ a single database with the first record (sometimes two) being a Settings record holding sitewide settings that are put into text variables at the top of every page. Much like a shopping cart file, which is actually a database file. In an effort to keep the number of fields to a minimum (matching the needs of the primary data), -- I'm something of a minimalist by nature -- I often combine ,ultiple inputs into one field. In this particular case I use one field to store the event location info, and one to store the date and time, because there weren't that many fields to start out with. In fact, technically, my date field goes a step deeper, because it combines three input fields delimited by / before it gets combined with the time to land in its final slot. I have another site where I use fields named popup1, popup2 etc to store lists of popup menu values where I don't know how many will finally be there (it's up to the user). So I applied the same thinking to this case of the address info, and only discovered this snag on the fourth instance of the system. Had I known it would be a problem in the first place, I probably would have just created some new fields to contain the separate address info. I can still go back, but I kinda like it the way it is, and wanted to just make it work. It's okay now; just wanted to wrap up the thread and acknowledge the last suggestion from Brian, for the sake of the archives. Terry ..
