First issue: The "fbrk" parameter was introduced in WebDNA 4.5.1 - you said you're testing on 4.5 If your "4.5" is really "4.5.1", then it should work (though there was also a bug fix with the fbrk parameter in version 5.1e). If it is "4.5.0", it will not work. Try putting "[unurl][svar][/unurl]
" above your search so you can see exactly what your code is generating - this often shows unexpected problems with the preceding code. Finally, let's clarify what you're looking for. From what I've read in this thread (hey, that rhymes!), I take it that your "PUBLISHER" field contains one or more publisher names, separated by commas. For example, it could contain "Food Image Source,Bob's Publishing House" or simply "Image Source". Given those two examples, you want to find "Image Source" but not "Food Image Source"... correct? This is the result I see in my quick test with Donovan's code. - brian On Oct 25, 2004, at 5:35 AM, Erol Guneri wrote: > Thanks for the code Donovan, but still creates the same problem. > > Erol > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Donovan Brooke" > To: "WebDNA Talk" > Sent: Monday, October 25, 2004 1:31 PM > Subject: Re: whole word matching > > >> Erol, heading out of the office... >> >> Try this (not tested): >> >> [text]svar=[url][!] >> [/!][IF ("[OrderFile cart=[cart]][Header5][/orderfile]"!"")][!] >> [/!][Then][!] >> [/!]&woPUBLISHERdatarq=[url][OrderFile > cart=[cart]][Header5][/orderfile][/url][!] >> [/!]&Publisherwbrk=,[!] >> [/!]&Publisherfbrk=,[!] >> [/!]&Publisherword=ww[!] >> [/!][/Then][!] >> [/!][/if][!] >> [/!][/url][/text] >> >> >> [search db=dbs/cadmium.db[unurl][svar][/unurl]] >> >> [FoundItems] >> [Publisher]
