In order to be P3P compliant, you must have a specially formatted XML file describing what personal information you track on users visiting your web site. If you set it up correctly, you can continue to use session cookies for e-commerce (without asking specific permission) with IE6 set to Medium High Security (I just updated our policy file and tested that).
