WebDNA's XML code can't find the above URL. When I convert the http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/00004YRPE/ LRKNFE80link_code=xm2 then WebDNA can find it ... [xmlnodes] [name]=[value]
[/xmlnodes] .... when [name] is buyurl [value] is the URL, so parsing the feed is easy. I figured that when I grab the feeds from amazon ( over 1,000 feeds a day ) I should pipe the curl output thru SED to fix it This seems to work curl stuff... | sed -e '/
/s/\">/<\/buyurl>/g' -e 's/Details url=\"/Details>/g' > filename.xml If a 'regular expression' expert on this list can improve it, I'd be grateful. It worked on 40 test feeds with 10 items each. - Jim On Nov 8, 2004, at 6:13 PM, Joe D'Andrea wrote: > Why can't you use this? > > [text]theURL=[middle startafter=&endbefore=] > > xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="http://xml.amazon.com/schemas3/dev- > heavy.xsd"> >
