texte = You /could/ end up with duplicate ids when using some characters out of the cart and not the whole cart. But you can also test to see if the truncated cart is already in the database before using the truncated cart. If the truncated cart is already in the db, then use [newcart] or add 1 to your truncated cart and check for dups again. If you can use a sequential id number that starts at one and increments from there for each new id then just search the db for highest value and add one. Don't forget to lock the db during the id assignment phase.
