It keeps the original formatting.

Now the bad news, it is an ActiveX control that will only work on Windows !
Tom, Is there a place to "test drive" this editor without downloading and installing something?
By the way -- another one that I use is called Kafenio. www.kafenio.org
I really liked this one, I've been waiting for a java based editor to come along that isn't platform dependant like the one I did some time ago and the others that use iframes. The only problem with this one is the lack of copy/paste that retains formatting. Ex: go to yahoo, ctrl-a and then ctrl-c and then go to htmlarea or mine and then paste into the editor. The extact page shows up (it just grabs the source code). This is great for clients that want to "clone" their own product pages. I believe Nitai and Redakto (sp?) have an editor as well that is integrated into their CMS package, though I'm not sure if there is an online example to try out - I'd be curious to do so - I believe it is java based.
