Doesn't matter, if its a used cart they will be redirected and issued a new one. If your using a storebuilder base, it will issue an error if you try to purchase a used cart number. > the useful part of google is that is takes the customer to the right page, > drawback is the cart, i do not really want to put the custoemr back to the > homw page as then they have to look for the product which is easy enough but > annoying when you had the item on the previous page As John said, you don't have to go to the home page but instead you could code it to issue a new cart Num instead and redirect to the page they were trying to access. If you already have a site passing cart, then I don't think you need to go with cookies. There are other concerns when dealing with cookies, so you will have to code something either way and you already have a start with [cart].
