A better ConvertChars?

texte = Is there something easier than using ConvertChars when you want to simply replace 1 or 2 characters in a string (text variable)? For example, I might want to replace all line feed characters in a text variable, and as it stands I have to create a .db file and map the line feed to what I want it replaced by...
