parsing a response with "&"

texte = Hello, I am getting a deliminated "response" from a tcpconnect. It will be deliminated by "&"'s which I need to convert to tabs. Since "&" is a param of grep, do I use the ASCII equiv. instead? [grep search=%26&replace=][response][/grep] If not, what is the best way?
