texte = Hi allI thought I post this information here if any of you want to use=20=the new MySQL 4.1.x build (current version 4.1.9).The =E2=80=9Cproblem=E2=80=9D is that, as long as applications li=ke WebDNA or others are not imbedding the new MySQL libs for 4.1=20=the clients will get an error message of the kind:=E2=80=9CClient does not support authentication protocol requeste=d by server; consider upgrading MySQL client=E2=80=9DPoint is that in Version 4.1 of MySQL they have changed the passw=ord schema and thus =E2=80=9Cold=E2=80=9D clients can not connect=.. To resolve this issue one needs to change the password from the= new schema to the old schema.
