I suppose the travel from your dish to the satalite to the hub is a given static time that is hard to improve on. Starband is claiming upload speeds of up to 128Kbps on the "telecomunicator" package. However, Starband says no webserving where I don't see that restriction on the two Direcway options. The direcway lists Upload as up to 100 Kbps and has a "Max no. of connections" of 30 and 45 depending on which package you use. (I suppose that means simoltanious connections) For a home office project webserver I'm sure this would be just fine. It may also be fine for small to mid scale commerce servers that are not heavily trafficed, but Satellite in general (at this point) doesn't look to be an ideal means of web serving from what I can tell.
