texte = I took your advice and changed the webdna unixuser preference from=20 "www" to "kengrome" which is the only user I created on this computer. =20= It looks like all the files I FTP's to the new iMac server are set to=20 the following prefs: owner kengrome read and write group kengrome read and write others kengrome read .... so I guess now that webdna is also unixuser "kengrome" it will be=20 able to read and write all the files I create on this new computer or=20 FTP to this new computer using the kengrome account. It also seems like it will write files with me (kengrome) as the owner=20= now, which means I'll be able to edit them without having to enter my=20 password to save them every time. I'm not sure how this will affect the files the installer created=20 because they are still owned by www and they are still in the www=20 group, so maybe I'll have to change the permissions on all those files=20= before everything will work ... but it's after 2 am here in the=20 Philippines and it's time for me to get some sleep.
