texte = Lester, Once WebCat is to the point where it can count the founditems to return a [numfound], the finding and sorting has already happened. So you can't turn around and re-display the list in a different order. In later versions of WebCat, you can use a table to store the numfound data on the fly without adding a special field in the database, but tables came in with version 5. Even with this method though, you're doing an additional search each time you display the page. In my method you only do an extra search when you save a record. Hope this helps explain the logic.
