texte = You could add a dummy record to the end of your database, with a field value that will always be found, regardless of the search performed. Then, use [showif][hideif] on a page with a refresh to first, display an animated JPEG of Flash of "We're Searching...", until the value of the dummy record is returned, then display the results and kill the refresh. I seem to remember that there's some issues with using refresh and other WebDNA on a page, but maybe this will be the right direction to start thinking.
