This is how I think about things like this: PHP and MySQL are so easy (and free) to install now on all platforms, and PHP programmers are so plentiful and cheap, that it doesn't really make sense to create a WebDNA version of stuff that's already done in PHP/MySQL -- unless the cost of the solution in the "other software" is HUGE. This one only costs $400 so to me it makes more sense to just buy it, then install PHP/MySQL and run it on the same server. The client will certainly have to pay much more than this if you have to charge him to clone the same features in WebDNA, right?
