Since it is within a cvs contributors could update code (with permissions) and others who like can download the code free of charge. There was a recent conversation about the need for SMSI to provide more API's for connecting to services. I think a CVS like this could be a useful tool... when the interface needs a change, it would be easy to download it, change it, then upload the updated widget for everyone to use. I'm almost done with an API to connect storebuilder with USPS... so that could maybe go up there. Also, a while back, I was helping a guy (Howard somebody) with a pretty cool html email interface... something like the html stalker interface that is with SIMS. The core software worked well and would allow people to get there email remotely in a secure fashion. What was left was details and formatting. That could go up as well... not sure if there was IMAP support, but I think it was started. Howard was the maker of "the pub" forum and was considering opening this software but wanted a good CVS system to do it with.. so I'd have to contact him for his approval. I believe I have a threaded forum started and I do have a forum that looks like Gary's, but not that completed. I may have a couple other items. So, yea, go for it. :-) Do we want to talk about how it may work first? Donovan -- =o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o DONOVAN D.
