texte = I think the only way for webDNA to continue to survive and, God forbid, thrive, is if we can open up the best applications to the group. Success for webDNA equals success for us as developers. What will give us all an edge is access to pre-written code. The problem is one of equity. Some of the developers have put a great deal of work into general purpose apps, while many of us have worked on large scale, but very specialized apps. I'm working on something that provides video rehabilitation exercises to chiropractic patients. You can't evenly trade specialized for general purpose unless you're just damn lucky. The challenge is for us to devise some means of compensating those who work on things that benefit us all and webDNA in general. Stuart T. has an absolutely fantastic discussion forum. He's even gone as far as to contact SmithMicro but not received a response. (wow) Perhaps the reward is already built in since the more that the general purpose apps are circulated, the more support work their authors will probably get. Although the better the code, the less of this work there will be. Success for webDNA equals success for us as developers.
