Frameworks are more where things go in a relatively complex application. It gives guidance to teams of programmers. My two cents anyway. But it has it's own database connectors set up already and running through a separate interface. Functions like a random number generator ([cart]), and the search protocols are already defined. So is it just a high level language, or is there already an underlying framework that is the "WebDNA Shell"? I guess I need to do more research into the subject. My understanding was that a framework is a shell that compiles the code automatically and inserts any low-level code and appropriate calls so that the code is leaner and easier to write. I can't really think of too many ways to make WebDNA code leaner. "It's a floor wax *and* a dessert topping!"
