numero = 67299

texte = OK Thanks for all the help and pointers to date, I now have the perl script I need my problem now is back to WebDNA and how to use it. My ideal solution would be to use the following... ========= #!/usr/bin/perl my $plain = '[StringToEncode]'; my $password = '[password]'; my $passstring = '[password]'; my $crypt = ""; while (length($passstring) < length($plain)) { $passstring .= $password; } $passstring = substr($passstring,0,length($plain)); $crypt = $plain ^ $passstring; print "$crypt\n"; ========== ....as a [shell] script but it doesn't work as such. Is it at all possible to use in this way, and if so how? Alternatively can I save it to a file in such a way that I can pass variables to it and get a reply ie [shell]/path/to/script.pl [StringToEncode] [password][/shell] or something like that? Just not sure of how you use the [shell] commands really. Again any help or hints very much appreciated. Ideally I would like to do it on one page and not have to post to another etc etc. Thanks ======================================== Steve Craig - Asylum Interactive Ltd Tel +44 1330 860550 Fax +44 1330 860880 ======================================== http://www.asylumweb.com Email: steve@asylumweb.com Skype: s.craig - iChat: steve.craig ======================================== On 25 May 2006, at 17:59, John Peacock wrote: > Steve Craig wrote: >> Is there anybody here that could guide me a little, off-list, >> about a fairly simple problem I am having with [shell] and a perl >> script?
