texte = Hi, =20 A couple of my sites are starting to get hit by bots that are sending spam through contact and sign-up forms. I can't use CAPTCHAS on some of these forms and was wondering what techniques others are using to try and block this stuff. =20 Also on some forms the spammers are adding email headers hoping to push email through if any of the form fields are passed on to sendmail. I have read that the way to block this is to strip linefeed and carraige return characters out of the fields. The best that I have come up with is:- =20 [table name=3Dremovelinefeeds&fields=3Dfrom,to] %0A=20 %0D=20 [/table] =20 [text]_cleanname=3D[convertwords table=3Dremovelinefeeds][_name][/convertwords][/text] =20 Does anyone have a neater way to strip these characters ? =20 =20 Thanks - Tom ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
