texte = This lands on me squarely as we have been using WebDNA as a front end for MSSQL for 3 years now. Many of the projects actually have no tables running in WebDNA while they interact with hundreds of thousands of records across dozens of tables within MSSQL. So much quicker to develop and more secure than PHP/MySQL. The speed and stability of the system cant be beat. But, on the down side, we are in a upgrade void at this point. I am under CONSTANT pressure to consider taking our apps to PHP instead. The concept of retooling one of our products to PHP gives me cold sweats. If SMSI would just get off their collective fish tank shaped asses and provide some form of path (update or sell off) for the product we could clearly see years worth of future product development in WebDNA.
