texte = Ten years ago when I took my first Cisco class we would never add the extra zeros to an octet when it was less than 3 digits. It wasn't until I learned WebDNA that I first experienced that format. So I'm going to guess that the programmers at ip-address.com did not take it into account. It looks like the ip-address.com website falls short by a lot. I was interested so here are my results: using ip-address.com I got: 076.016.229.151 - Madrid, Spain. 076.16.229.151 - Sor-Trondelag, Norway 76.16.229.151 - Chicago, Illinois, USA Using ip2location.com I got: 076.016.229.151 - Chicago, Illinois, USA (ISP Comcast) 076.16.229.151 - Chicago, Illinois, USA (ISP Comcast) 76.16.229.151 - Chicago, Illinois, USA (ISP Comcast) Using RDNS on dnsstuff.com I got: 076.016.229.151 - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey but fed from ISP Comcast out of Denver, Colorado, USA. Although Caching Error suspected 076.16.229.151 - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey but fed from ISP Comcast out of Denver, Colorado, USA. Although Caching Error suspected 76.16.229.151 - Mt. Laurel, New Jersey but fed from ISP Comcast out of Denver, Colorado, USA. According to the dnsstuff.com website they go through a lot of trouble to create a correct geolocation for their IP addresses, and their source material is the ip2location.com database. It seems to me that ip-address.com is not the best service to be using.
