If opening the DB in a text editor is an issue, just fix your code so the deprecated field is no longer used. It won't hurt anything. I often have unused fields in my DBs anyway (for future expansion or becuase it is no longer used). Terry >>Palle >Gary, so what should I do in the text editor. I would just search the DB for the deprecated field, find all, and replace with no value. Then open the DB in a text editor like BBEdit and delete the field name, save, and reload the DB. If opening the DB in a text editor is an issue, just fix your code so the deprecated field is no longer used. It won't hurt anything.
