texte = Hi, I'm experiencing an intermittent issue (maybe 3 times in a year) where our products database gets partially written back to disk. It seems to occur after a page hangs (I inevitably have to restart the engine or reboot). There are several templates that can make changes to this database -- a few of them do use exclusive locks. It happened again just yesterday. We were inputting a very large order internally (over 100 items). The page locked up and that's when it seemed to occur. The strange thing is, this page was only writing to the shopping cart and only accessing the products.db for info. At this point, I'm just hoping someone can point me in a new direction in trying to figure this out. I already commit to the database each time I write to it. I've been wondering if there may be a problem with using exclusive lock (on select pages only -- perhaps I should be using it on everything?). Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
