The server normally runs with about 20 or so but in minutes the count will be over 200. Naturally, nothing will serve during while this is happening. No error messages on-screen, but all pages hang. In about 10 minutes all returns to normal. I've checked the signal catcher log - nothing. The debug logging stops, but shows no pattern. The last page served is completely different every time. The Apache error log shows lots of this: (32)Broken pipe: core_output_filter: writing data to the network ....but I'm not sure if that's a symptom or the problem. Has anyone had this happen with Apache?? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Phil Herring phil@sailboatowners.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
