texte = Hi Grant,I had an idea for speeding things up a little on subsequent searches, and it worked.I moved the stuff which was previously enclosed in the [showif] context to a separate file and I used [include] to include that stuff in the [showif] context. My thinking was that if WebCat2 would have to open a separate file to get at this stuff, maybe it wouldn't open that file when the [showif] evaluates to 'false'.Apparently I was right about this, because my subsequent searches now take about 0.12 seconds. While this is not quite as fast as the 0.083 seconds I recorded when I removed the entire [showif] context for a test, it is certainly a lot better than waiting 17 seconds every time someone hits that page!Sincerely, Ken
