The answer was complete enough to get us headed in the right direction :-)I think part of our problem in coming to grips with all of this has to do with caching, but I'm not positive. It seems as if formulas are cached into the acgi and only updated when the acgi is restarted. Is that conclusion correct ? Since we truly are doing this in a Net-distributed fashion we are having all kinds of fun ... _really_ !We are using SiteEdit Pro to let Curt (and others) edit away and all-in-all it is working like a charm. We also got a copy of SiteGuard, but it appears that it was already part of the WebCommerce Solution ? We don't mind an extra copy as we can use that somewhere else, but would like to make sure that we correctly concluded that running SiteGuard when already running the WebCommerce Solution is redundant ? What I'm really getting at here is how we can give _selected_ remote users the ability to not only flush caches, but also Quit-Start applications (like the WebCat acgi) without using a single SiteGuard (one-for-all) user name and password ? While WebCat provides for groups, it doesn't (obviously) seem as if SiteGuard does.Did I make sense and what did I/we overlook ?Thanks, -Sven_____________________________________________________________________ Sven U.
