My problem is I can't determine from the docs what encryption method is used when implementing 'standard' WebDNA encryption. So if I store passwords using a one way hash with: [encrypt]salt-value.password-value[/encrypt] can anyone tell me what algorithm is used? Also how are other people handing password storage? Thanks - Tom --047d7b676bc2e83a3104e7c7cc24 Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
Hi all,

I've been reading up recently on password hashing w= ith salts etc, and I'm hoping to implement a process that I can then do= cument and outline to clients. =C2=A0

My problem i= s I can't determine from the docs what encryption method is used when i= mplementing 'standard' WebDNA encryption.

So if I store passwords using a one way hash with:

=C2=A0 =C2=A0[encrypt]salt-value.password-value[/encry= pt]

can anyone tell me what algorithm is used?

Also how are other people handing password storage?
