texte = 1458 Lawrence, The config file you attached is the main Apache config file so I think we're in the right place (unless Apple did something to change the way Apache is configured on a Mac of course). Find the line "Listen 80" then immediately after this line paste the 4 lines I gave you earlier, like this: Listen 80 Timeout 300 KeepAlive On MaxKeepAliveRequests 100 KeepAliveTimeout 5 .... then try to restart Apache and see if it will actually restart. Hopefully it will, but: When there's a syntax problem in its main config file Apache won't restart until you fix it. This might mean removing the new lines, one at a time (or all together) until it restarts successfully. I don't know what Apple may have mucked with in terms of Apache's configuration on Mac servers, so if this approach doesn't work you may want to do some research to learn where the 4 new parameters I gave you should be used in an Apache Mac configuration ... but on a Linux box they go right there in the main Apache config file. BTW, I also told you earlier that the 4 new lines do NOT go inside an
block, but that was when I thought you were hosting on a Linux server ... so it may very well be that on a MAC those 4 new lines belong inside an
block. Bottom line: It won't hurt to try the above suggestion, and if it keeps Apache from restarting just remove those new lines and you'll be back where you started again.
