Thanks Kenneth,

I did add= the "_" in Brian's code, so this isn't a problem. Exept = if it gets a problem with the DB...

I'm going to try your = exemple.

But what I don't understand is...
Why this work, without SUMM=3DT
[search db=3Dbases/_temp.= db&ne_emaildatarq=3D[BLANK]&_emailSORT=3D1&_emailsdir= =3Das&max=3D10]

And once I add the Summ=3DT it creat= a Crash

Brian, you keep posting example code that won't work because
you're apparently assuming that the field name is "email" whe= n in
fact it is "_email" ...

I actually think that this field name may be the source of the
problem here.=C2=A0 Hasn't it always been a "rule" that we ar= e supposed
to begin our field names with alphabetical characters?=C2=A0 If so,
then maybe this rule was not strictly enforced until version 8.5.

Lawrence, if you try this maybe it will help diagnose the problem:

1- close the db
2- manually change the field name from "_email" to "email&qu= ot;
3- test with these new searches:

[search db=3Dbases/_temp.db&neemaildatarq=3Dx][numfound][/sea= rch]

[search
db=3Dbases/_temp.db&neemaildatarq=3Dx&emailsumm=3DT][numf= ound][/search]

If these searches work then you need to stop using "_" as the
first character in your field names.

BTW, you should absolutely not need to use a sort or max parameter
when doing a search of this (or any other) database.

Brian, you keep posting example code that won't work because
you're apparently assuming that the field name is "email" whe= n in
fact it is "_email" ...

I actually think that this field name may be the source of the
problem here.=C2=A0 Hasn't it always been a "rule" that we ar= e supposed
